2 Corinthians 6:4 (NLT) In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind.

We’ve all heard it said that the show must go on, right?  There is a big difference between putting on a show and showing.

Putting “on” a show can be exhausting.  Sometimes so hard to balance reality from fantasy. However, showing is a different thing altogether.

Because of God’s ultimate grace, we have been adopted in a family as son’s and daughters.  We “get” to represent him. It is an honor.  So many folks live in “have” to vs “get” to. They lose the joy and strength that comes from showing vs show.

How can we patiently endure troubles and hardships?  How can we sail through calamities of every kind?

The bible tells us a couple of things. 1. He is our strength when we are weak. 2. The joy of the Lord IS our strength.

I have found that in the midst of it all.. he makes me strong. It is supernatural. It is empowering. It is assurance.  I can’t get that from “well, the show must go on” mentality.

It comes down to identity. If you know who you are.. who you really are and who’s you are.. there is a big difference.  When you know truth.. in the midst of everything else… we can SHOW who’s we are… TRUE ministers of the gospel.  Many times it doesn’t even have to be a word.

My question today is how is your show? My prayer today is that you feel so assured by your Father’s love, so confident you are His, that whatever comes your way… you show that the joy of the Lord is your strength.  If something absolutely incredible.. it was His grace and love for you.. if something absolutely devistating.. it IS His grace and love for you that carries you.

May your show go on today and may it be an incredible show for others to see.. trust me.. there is always something on.. it just depends on what you have rehearsed that people see.

Love you and hey.. remember…. #GodsGotThis
