So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith. Galatians 6:9-10 (The Message)

Have you ever found yourself saying “I am so tire of ____________”!!!!!!! Well, you’re not alone. It can be real easy to grow weary or as The Message above puts it “get fatigued” in life and even doing good.

Let’s be real. Some of our “I’m tired of this” moments are not as big as you may think. However, it is always big to God. Whatever your answer to the blank above is, He cares. Obviously some of our complaints can be quite petty, but some of them are legit.

Getting tired of responsibilities of life, understandable, however, it’s part of life. Some kind of illness, (totally relate), dig into God’s Word more.. stand on it it and Paul said when you’ve done all you can do to stand, stand some more!  (Ephesians 6:13-14)

Here are a few ways that is said in the bible:

“and having done all, stand firm” (ESV)

“then after the the battle you will still be standing firm”  (NLT)

“to stand firm in your place–fully prepared, immovable, victorious”  (AMP)

“so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet” (MSG)

There is no doubt we may feel like this old truck falling apart in a field somewhere and at times in our lives standing seems like the last thing to do. But there is something you can do about it.

STAND!

HOW TO STAND

S-  Stop sitting around and get back up

T –  Take it easy. (When I stand up too fast now with all I’ve been through I get dizzy real fast, but if I take my time, it is much better and more stable.

A-  Abide. Spend time with God and allow him to speak into your life.

N-  Navigate. Pay attention to where you are. Look at your surroundings. Will they hold you back or launch you ahead?

D- Defend your ground! We all need boundaries and they help you and others know where you “stand”.

I know it’s not always easy (so I used really big letters so you’ll look) and this blog is pretty short because I want you to read all of it 🙂 But there is more to the story… dig in, help others, read the scriptures I put in here, spend time with God and whatever situation you may find yourself in.. just remember:
