TRIBULATION HAS NO OPT OUT BUTTON
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
-John 16:33 ESV
If there is one thing I can say I experience on a regular basis in life it is tribulation. God himself has told us it will happen. Interestingly enough, I found that there are over 20 times the bible actually mentions tribulation and I also saw that it mentions over 400 times peace.
In a world of OPT IN or OPT OUT, whether you choose a life following Christ and the things taught to us in the Bible or you choose to live life another way, there is and never will be a way to opt out of tribulation. We all face it. We all experience it. We’re all affected by it. We all have to learn how to live through it.
THE DIFFERENCE
I can say I have never been able to experience, endure and overcome tribulation the way I have been able to since I have been a follower of Christ. The teachings available, the examples to be learned and seen and the people living through it with Christ as well are proof enough to OPT IN as a follower of Christ.
There is no way I can give you a quick fix today for the tribulation you may be experiencing, it just isn’t there. However, I did mention a word smaller than tribulation but larger than it’s reach.

PEACE”
Living with that peace the way Jesus provides and teaches allows the experience of traveling through that journey with him so much better. I didn’t say easier, I said better. There is no doubt what I am going through and what tribulation you are experiencing absolutely sucks, but I have a hope, a peace, that whatever happens and however it happens, somehow, someway, God will work it out for my good.

My friends, you can’t OPT OUT of bad things, but you don’t have to go through it alone. If you are not already a follower of Christ and even if you are, I’d love to share with you the how. The how to get through what you are facing and the how of not doing it alone… EVER.
